The Easter trail that took place in Partington as part of our Love Partington initiative has been a massive hit in the community. Around 250 people did the trail over the course of the week, each learning about the Easter story along the way and engaging in the stations and activities along the town centre route.
We teamed up with Partington Methodist Church and St Marys church to run the trail in different venues along the route. The Hideaway also hosted the tomb whilst the garden at the Health and Wellbeing centre became the Garden of Gethsemane - complete with prayer tree.
One of the organisers Ruth Lancey said "It was such as huge privilege to be a part of the trail. It was fantastic to be able to hear children and adults telling me what they learned about Jesus and the bits that really stood out to them. Lots of very happy people, lots of chances to pray and lots of seeds have been planted for the gospel. Thank you to everyone who volunteered!"
