OUR PARTNERS
As a church we are convinced that God's call is not just for the Gospel to impact this community, but that the good news of Jesus would have local, regional, national and international impact. For this reason, we support a number of organisations that are sharing the good news of Jesus in various contexts:
Trafford Youth For Christ
Trafford Youth for Christ work in the communities of Partington, Sale, Altrincham and the other towns of Trafford to 'take the good news relevantly to every young person in Trafford.' They host a number of events, day trips, activity weeks as well as regular involvement in Trafford's high schools.
BMS World Mission
BMS supports the work of missionaries across the world - in some of the most challenging and difficult contexts where the love of Jesus is so evidently needed. BMS works with local expertise and knowledge for effective impact in places such as Congo, Uganda, Brazil, Ecuador, Bangladesh, China, India, Kosovo, and Afghanistan. We are delighted to be able to partner with BMS to share the Gospel globally.
The Hideaway
The Hideaway is a local children's educational play centre and community resource. The organisation is run by Christians and exists for the benefit of the whole community and runs regular courses and support services alongside a range of play activities for children.
Christians Against Poverty
CAP aims to show God’s love in action by providing sustainable poverty relief through debt counselling, advice and practical help. CAP’s unique ‘hands on’ approach empowers people to help themselves out of poverty and be released from the fear, oppression and worry generated by overwhelming debts. CAP works with our church here in Partington, in partnership with Altrincham Baptist Church - as well as across the UK.
Dignity
Dignity is a visionary Christian organisation that seeks to pioneer change through evangelism and hands-on development projects. Dignity’s goal is for the Church to be the agent of change. Their predominant focus is to transform extremely poor communities in rural Africa by building sustainable, long-term projects in partnership with local organisations.
Kolkata Bhalobashi Foundation
Bhalobashi means “love” in Bengali. The work of KBF seeks to demonstrate God’s love for some of the poorest people in Kolkata, India in practical ways. Currently they run a schools club, a hospice and children's club.
Baptist Home Mission
The People's Church is a Baptist Church - supported by, and supporting, Home Mission, which provides funding for the thirteen regional associations, as well as £2m worth of grants to churches and church-related ministries, mission projects, church plants and chaplaincies.
