SUPPORT SERVICES

We believe that the good news of the Christian faith isn’t just about where you go when you die, but it’s about the whole of life now. For this reason, we are here to serve the local community believing that we are meant to know ‘life in all its fullness’, free from debt, free from addiction, and empowered for life. As part of this, we support people locally in a number of ways….

CAP DEBT HELP

Christians Against Poverty is now recognised as a national leader in debt advise services. It is unique in it's free, one on one service that is concerned for the whole person. CAP supports clients until they are debt free, in many cases for up to 5 years.

Martin Lewis (Money Saving Expert. com) recommends CAP
"Debt counselling agency, which specialises in helping those who are emotionally struggling too. The religious focus is why they do it, not how they do it."

CAP aims to show God’s love in action by providing sustainable poverty relief through debt counselling, advice and practical help. CAP’s unique ‘hands on’ approach empowers people to help themselves out of poverty and be released from the fear, oppression and worry generated by overwhelming debts. We are providing sustainable poverty relief as our service teaches clients vital budgeting skills that will last a lifetime.

There is no cost to being a CAP client - it is a completely free way to become debt free. Call our Partington CAP centre on..... to book an appointment or to find out more about CAP's 5 steps to become debt free, click here

HOPE CENTRE

The People's Church works with other churches across Partington to support a local charity, Hidden Treasure Trust who provide a food pantry for local residents. Many of our church members work at the Hope Centre and provide on-going support for members of our community who are struggling personally or financially. We support the project financially and practically, and encourage those in our community who are struggling on a regular basis to sign up and make the most of this fantastic opportunity to save money and get help when it's needed.
