CHILDREN

At People's Church we invest lots of time, energy and love into our kid's ministry because we're passionate about our children developing their own personal, vibrant and real faith.  

 

Our main focus is on Sunday mornings where children from Reception to Year 6 meet together after starting in the main meeting.  Each week will contain some bible teaching, practical activities and games, worship and prayer wrapped up in different formats.

BIG QUESTION weeks are when we spilt into two age groups and explore a question, related to the bible passage we have looked at, through a variety of activities. We then come back together and the children can offer their responses and thoughts.

BIG CRAFT weeks explore our theme through mixed age groups and take time on a quality craft.  We also get creative with our praying! 

GODLY PLAY weeks our younger children are really fortunate to explore bible stories through reflective play and our older children dig deep into Diary of a Disciple.

 

And, from time to time we meet together as a whole congregation in ALL AGE services where we learn, pray and worship together.

 

All our activities are designed to be accessible to any child, whether they are from a new to faith family or  have been attending church since birth. We aim to make sure that there is something everyone will enjoy and feel comfortable with, and our large team of (dbs checked!) volunteers are always ready to help children enjoy their time and grow their faith.
